Lincoln Cathedral

Lincoln is very close (15mins) across the toll bridge at a cost of 25p. The Cathedral, location for filming 'The D'avinci Code',  is stunning, see if you can locate the 'Lincoln Imp'. The Castle stands above the city and affords a view to Russia !!. The City of Lincoln has a wealth of history with it's unique buildings, Steep Streets and Museums. It is an excellent shopping paradise with unusual and unique shops selling everything from fabrics to wines, second hand books and prints to clothes. The nightlife is good with clubs, pubs and restaurants as well as theatres, cinemas, football and an indoor play centre for adventurous children.
